Me Newbie!

First blog ever!!! What a milestone for me.
Ok....this should be fairly easy right? just write a little bit of what's happening in my life so we can all stay connected in some way...
Gotta warn you, my English grammar is not the best. I'm still learning every day....so don't laugh if I throw every once in a while something like "post up a video"...I was called on that one yesterday by Sebastian (read: significant other & drummer) when I was telling him I wanted to upload a video of a recent gig I had at Starbucks.

The gig went great given the fact we hadn't played in over a month. Last show we had was in Austin during SXSW week. Loooong time ago.

So, needless to say, we had a lot of fun the other day at the Starbucks show. Everyone there is always so nice. It's like the perfect gig for a struggling singer like myself living here in LA. Free drinks, they pay us to play, it's free for everyone to see and they all get free starbucks samples. (You know it has to be good when I've said "free" 3 times in one sentence)
Plus, I can put a tip box and make some extra $$ which goes entirely to the band fund! or maybe Margaritas for Leslie and Sebastian after the show ;)

Our friends came over to see us. Big shout out to them!! And also an apology to a couple of them! God. That's another story. They had tried already twice to see me before and either my show was canceled or I was flying in outer space as usual and said the show was at 2 pm when in fact it was at 7 pm!!!

Hey...I'm getting the hang of this blog thingy!! :) (or not...I've already gone back like 5 times to edit it because I always find mistakes!)

Ok, don't mean to get track-sided....um, side-tracked!!...SEE!!? that's the @#$% I'm talking about! ahaha

Alright! here goes what I've been trying to say for the last half hour.
........So our friends came to see us at the Starbucks gig with their daughter Hannah, who's the cutest little girl!! She was dancing and singing along to the whole set.
